Anyone suffering from hair loss can feel like they want to stay in the house never to be seen. There are so many options today. Tomeka James created the DSW UNIT. It stands for detachable sewn weave. A client can be measured so a unit can be custom sewn by choosing a base such as a weaving net, a cap, lace, and more. This unit takes a few hours to be constructed. A client can wait or leave and return a few days later. Their hair is generally braided then the unit is sewn onto the braids. In some cases, tape/ adhesive is used. No tape or adhesive has been used on this client. It fits so well that it doesn't need extra help. It's removed every 6-8 weeks. Yes she can be shampooed while wearing the unit. This service runs $ 400 and up. It's great to know that there's LIFE after Hair loss!
